Services

Below, there is a list of in-office services that Career Services provides along with descriptions of each. Information about other services can be found by visiting the appropriate link to the left (student, employer, or faculty).

  1. Consulting Appointments
  2. Consulting appointments are available for you to have your resume and cover letter critiqued by staff. For other concerns, such as self-assessment (skills, values, interests, and abilities), career decision-making, and job search strategies, schedule a career counseling apointment with a counselor.

  3. Career Counseling
  4. Career Counseling is an opportunity for students and alumni to talk with a counselor about self-assessment (skills, values, interests, and abilities), career decision-making, and job search strategies. After a session, you may decide to utilize Discover, a web based career assessment tool, offered by career services. You may schedule a counseling session by phone or by coming to the office.

  5. Resource Room
  6. The Resource Room consists of computers, printers, magazines, newspapers, and books that may be helpful in learning the appropriate skills for obtaining your desired career.
